DECT 6.0 TechnologyThe Uniden D1680 uses cutting-edge DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Communications) technology, which operates in the 1.9GHz frequency range, to eliminate interference caused by radio signals from mobile phones, Wi-Fi or other wireless devices, delivering enhanced voice clarity, roaming range and security when making phone calls.
Caller ID Memory and Call WaitingIf you subscribe to Caller ID, you can store up to 50 Caller ID numbers in each handset so you won't have to hunt for lost numbers ever again. Caller ID records are stored from newest to oldest. Once your Caller ID list is full and you receive an incoming call, the oldest record will be automatically deleted to make room for the new record. If you subscribe to call waiting, a tone sounds if a call comes in when you are on the phone. If you subscribe to Caller ID on call waiting, the Caller ID information of the waiting call appears on the display.
PhonebookThe handset stores up to 100 names and numbers in your phonebook for easy management of multiple contacts.
Silent ModeWith a touch of one button, you can silence the ringers on the base and all handsets for a specific period of time.
