Q: My USB device doesn’t work when switching to desktop input, but it works fine with the laptop. What should I do?

A: Ensure that the included USB-A to USB-B cable is securely connected to both your desktop and the device. For stable transmission, we recommend using the USB ports on the back of your computer.

Q: Why doesn’t my laptop charge when connected to the USB-C In port?

A: Please connect another USB-C power adapter to the USB-C charging port next to the USB-C IN port. Please prioritize using the USB-C adapter that comes with the laptop. If purchasing separately, select a suitable power adapter according to the laptop specifications, please let me know if you have any question.

Overview:

KD-E10 is a multi-function 2x1 KVM switch docking for personal home office and entertainment. It can be used as the core device for home office, which can be connected to a USB-C laptop for meeting and office, and it can also be connected to a desktop to provide users with gaming and entertainment needs. This device provides simple device connection and switching methods, sharing a series of external devices between laptop and desktop, such as mouse, keyboard, mobile hard disk, camera or speakerphone.

Features:

Two 4K@60Hz outputs for dual monitors KVM application.

2x1 Switch with one USB-C for the laptop and one combined HDMI+DP+USB-B 3.0 for the desktop.

One full-featured USB-C input supports 4K@60Hz video transmission, USB 3.0 data, and 100W charging (when an external USB-C power adapter is connected).

Both inputs and outputs support HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4.

Provides multiple peripheral ports,

including:

3x USB 3.0 type-A ports, support USB 3.0 standard, and 5Gbps data transfer rate of per port. Two of the three ports support 5V/1A power output, and the other one supports 5V/ 1.5A power output;

1x USB 3.0 type-C port (data only), supports USB 3.0 standard, 5Gbps data transfer rate, and 1.5A current output.

2x USB 2.0 type-A ports, supports USB 2.0 standard, and 480Mbps data transfer rate;

1x SDXC card slot, supports up to 2TB SDXC card inserted, and maximum data transmission is 104MB/s;

1x LAN port, support for 1Gb Ethernet performance (For USB-C Laptop only);

1x 3.5 mm TRRS (stereo + mic) headset port.

Support CEC trigger on HDMI outputs. When the current channel detects an input signal, it sends a CEC Power-ON command to the corresponding HDMI output port.

Support automatic wake-up function, which automatically wakes up the standby computer when switching.
