For anything 12 Volt, 12 watts = 1 amp.  This fan requires 9.1 watts to run at 6000RPM.  9.1 watts = .91 amps.

With this fan however, I recommend installing a manual speed adjuster in line as this fan is not loud.  I would compare it to a quiet siren just not as high pitch.

This fan however hands down produces an amazing amount of airflow.  Nothing compares.  I use it to vent out an entertainment center once it reaches a specific temperature.  I would not be able to handle it being on all the time because of the noise.
