where are the rubber feet, is this hub meant to stand up vertically?

There are rubber feet on the underside of the aluminum block. You will see them if you examine all the images on newegg for this product. It will probably topple over if you stand it up, however you will be surprised at how small this unit is. I hope this helps. Regis Mencer

how long is the usb cable going from the hub to the PC? I want to ensure it will sit up on my desk from my tower.
