This just gets put on your windshield via suction cup. As far as power goes just plug it to a 12V socket in your car, the power goes through the suction cup to the dash cam. If you want to take advantage of the parking mode fully then I would suggest a small backup battery you could plug the second usb cable to the dash cam (second usb cable not included) it’s just a micro usb.

No, you'll have to either remove the microSD card or plug the dashcam into another device to view the footage.
