The Vertiv Liebert VEBCLI-48VRT1U is a 48V lithium-ion external battery cabinet that extends outage runtime for compatible Liebert GXT5 lithium-ion UPS systems, making it suitable for users who need longer backup time for supported equipment.
Recommended For
- IT teams running a compatible Vertiv Liebert GXT5 Lithium-Ion UPS in a server room, network closet, or edge site who need more battery runtime for connected equipment during outages.
- Administrators who need to extend backup time for planned shutdowns or longer interruptions; the added runtime depends on the UPS model, connected load, and number of cabinets.
- Rack or tower deployments using a listed 1000–3000VA GXT5 Lithium-Ion model that want an automatically detected external battery cabinet rather than a separate, manually configured runtime solution.
- Organizations standardizing on the GXT5 Lithium-Ion platform that want to expand backup capacity while keeping the UPS and battery cabinet within the same Vertiv system.
