Overall Review: Needed to replace 0.26mm dot pitch 19" CRT with 19" standard or 20" wide screen LCD monitor. Most LCDs of this size have a 0.28mm dot pitch that looks fuzzy to me. I considered Dell, Sceptre, and ViewSonic, and was very pleased that Viewsonic has brought out this new VA2026w Value model. Compared to their VG2030wm Graphics model, I didn't need the onboard speakers, height adjustable stand, extra size and weight, higher power demand, and the 800:1 contrast ratio was lower. Note that the two medels are about the same price at Newegg. Had to buy a DVI cable since ViewSonic only ships a VGA cable with display. Plugged new monitor into DVI connector on eVGA NVidia FX5500 256MB display adapter. Loaded ViewSonic Wizard CD and did driver software install that also loads user manual (Acrobat file). Initial impressions - LCD display has fantastic clarity, color, and brightness! Just as good as CRT for small fonts. Very pleased with my choice - buy one and you will be, too !

Pros: Just got it today and i install it right away as my second monitor. I am able to compare the two monitors side by side and the difference is huge. This monitor is nice, colors are sharp/vivid. For the price this is a very good bargain.

Cons: No DVI cable

Pros: Good color, contrast, clarity, and detail in an an attractive and economically priced display. Good assembly quality and no dead pixels.

Cons: No included DVI cable.

Overall Review: I was pleasantly surprised how well positioned the display is on the stand--I expected having only tilt adjustment meant that I was going to have to place the display on something. I like this display so much that as soon as I get more desk space, I'm going to get a second one to have a dual monitor set up.

Pros: It is clean, crisp, bright, i have had no ghosting when gaming. This monitor is so great i am having a hard time stepping away from my computer.

Cons: I configured mine manually for dual monitor. Just for the hell of it i ran the cd to install my husbands and his froze up and did not work so i manually configured it.

Overall Review: Great buy! Could not be any happier, it is sitting next to my 20 inch Roswell hooked up for dual monitor and it is blowing the Roswell away.

Pros: 20 inches!, quite a lot nicer than the old 17 inch CRT I got rid of. At work I use two 17 inch ViewSonics, a 19 inch HP and a Lenovo 15 inch all LCD. This monitor puts them all to shame. I use the super HD settings and can not beleive how nice things look!!

Cons: One dead pixel...But I'm hoping it will go away, cant see it at the moment and didn't notice it till I maxed out the res.

Overall Review: With the 30.00 rebate I could justify buying this thing to my wife... =) I researched quite alot and decided that this was the best deal for a LCD over 19 inches! BUY THE THING, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!~

Pros: I researched my decision very well & read many reviews. I chose this monitor because of the high reviews, super high contrast and the Viewsonic name and reputation in the old CRT's. I own 3 of the competitors lcd's and I have to say, THIS ONE BLOWS THEM ALL AWAY!! Out of the box I was amazed at the vivid colors & CRYSTAL CLEAR TEXT! And I've not even hooked it up with a digital cable yet. Could it actually get better???

Cons: Viewsonic could have provided the DVI cable with this as it's only a few bucks. Now I have to go buy one, just a mild con. Also they ship in an obvious monitor box so be sure someone is home to accept delivery. Box is not even taped shut.

Overall Review: No dead pix, no problems, people, take my word and my research and buy this monitor. You will not be sorry you did. Also as always, Newegg had my order processed and at my door on the third day & I ordered on a Sunday.. WAY TO GO NEWEGG!!!!

Pros: Very clear picture for gaming and text. No light bleeding around the edges. Large viewing angles and picture doesn't wash out much when going to extreme angles. Simple bezel design and looks great. The cord management loops are surprisingly useful.

Cons: Doesn't come with a DVI cable but I had an extra one lying around.

Overall Review: Comparing this to a buddy's 20" BenQ monitor the Viewsonic looks slightly better which I think is due to the Dynamic Contrast Ratio. IMO very great monitor for the price.

Pros: I would HIGHLY recommend this to anybody looking for a widescreen monitor. The price might seem a little high, but it is worth it by far! The monitor has *excellent* picture quality, no dead pixels, looks very, very nice. Love the 2000:1 contrast ratio.

Cons: The only "con" is it is there is a notable fade in when switching from a black screen (ie screensaver) to your regular desktop. This is because of the dynamic contrast ratio. But only happens for about 2 secs.

Overall Review: Would HIGHLY recommend buying this monitor. Excellent quality from an excellent manufacturer.
