Pros: Sharp detail, good color, as good in bright or dark images. Needs no adjustment OOTB.
Cons: If you care at all and need speakers, spend for separate speakers.
Power and display cables could be a bit longer, they're fine if everything's on the floor directly below the monitor.
Overall Review: I figure anybody who cares at all is never going to expect anything out of monitor speakers anyway, so I don't let them affect my rating.
I bought this at $130 on sale. I'd do it again without looking at anything else, so at that price it'd get five stars, no question. At $180, maybe I'd shop a bit, but I don't know what improvements I'd be looking for.
Pros: Free View Split software, switching between inputs is easy, the size makes so many things easier, way better than a 15.6" laptop screen, I plan to mount this and another 27" on a 2 monitor wall VESA mount, likely articulating gas spring
Cons: The VGA cable is okay, the split screen with View Split can already be done with Windows 7 and 10, a small section of the screen is the bezel on the top and sides
Overall Review: I have connected 3 separate computers at different times with the VGA or D-Sub input, 2 separate computers through the HDMI input, when I moved it on to my desk I wore cotton gloves to make the whole thing easier

Dull Faded Colors7/10/2017 12:18:51 AM
Pros: Speaker and Headphone jack
Cons: No matter what configuration of color adjustment you make the colors are dull and faded. A side by side comparison with my much cheaper asus showed what was missing in colors and contrast. Very hazy too. If you watch videos of any kind or play a video game the image is hazy too. even if you lower the brightness the haze is still there.
Very large monitor, excellent price3/28/2020 9:48:17 AM
Pros: This 28" monitor is large. Almost did not have enough room on my desktop.
Crisp 1920 x 1080 display, good for old guys like me, avoids magnifying glass!
Provides a 100 x 100 vesa mounting, you will need an adapter if your yours is the small kind.
Worked perfectly out of the box.
NewEgg got it to me in three days while others wanted to schedule delivery 3 or 4 weeks out.
Cons: The stand was a challenge to remove, you need a long standard Philips screw driver and have to hold tension o the base spring to provide proper access to the screws.
The frame is wide, 1/2 on sides and top and 1" at bottom. This leaves approximately a 1" gap between two monitors in dual monitor mode.
Overall Review: I have been a ViewSonic fan for a long time.
This is a very good monitor, I am pleased. I was squinting a lot with my previous monitors.
I installed two of these yesterday to support working from home.
I wish it had a smaller frame around the outside, but I can live with this for the price.
Pros: Clear picture, decent layout. No bells and whistles, but I didn't want any. This is working great as an extra monitor in my secondary office space while we're shut in. :)
Pros: Sharp detail, good color, as good in bright or dark images. Needs no adjustment OOTB.
Cons: If you care at all and need speakers, spend for separate speakers. Power and display cables could be a bit longer, they're fine if everything's on the floor directly below the monitor.
