Pros: Bright, good for sim racing. The stand is not as robust as flat panel monitor stands used to be, but it seems as good as or better than most "price-point" monitor stands these days.
Pros: The monitor is very nice. Great colors, and deep black levels. No ghosting, and very bright if needed (I turned it down). I am a very happy camper.
Cons: The only actual problem is the stand is not great, its a little flimsy, and it is very short, but it works just fine for me.
The biggest issue I have with this monitor is that it looks so much nicer than my other monitor that it makes my other monitor look almost bad. I used to think my old monitor looked great, but now it pales in comparison, its a nice problem to have :)
Overall Review: I am sorry the other customer got a defective product, but I don't believe a product should be rated at one egg because of a defective unit, wait for a good one and then rate it...
Pros: Have had no problems with the monitor. The 27 inches is awesome. I was previously using a 20 inch monitor, and the upgrade was definitely worth it.
Cons: If there is one con about the monitor, it's that the stand is a little shaky, but not too bad.
Pros: Great construction quality, very durable, great LCD quality, good contrast and color, clean design
Cons: Comes with a VGA cable instead of a DVI cable. Seriously?
Overall Review: Have used this extensively in my office environment. Probably have close to 30 of these. Have only had one issue to report, was a defective LCD panel and Newegg replaced the monitor with no hassle.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for. It lacks in features but is solid. I worked for a state government agency that deployed these monitors instead of dual widescreens, and we had no issues with them. Its decently priced and is crazy on sale right now.
Pros: It's a great monitor. I like the feature to change the aspect ratio on the fly. Setup menus are better than my older Viewsonic.
I bought 5 of these, they're all working great >1 month. The only time they were powered off was during a power loss. The all work great.
Pros: This is a great monitor for the price. It does exactly as it says. The Large display is great for when I am playing games, and watching movies on the computer. 5 Eggs because this is a great monitor. It look great! For TV, Web, Games, Movies. This is a must have.
Cons: This is the largest monitor you would want to go, for 1920x1080 DPI. IMO anything larger will create too much space between pixels and graphics will not display as crisp as they should.
Cons: After 2 months it started to display alot of flickering red pixels and was annoying. I connected another LCD to the PC with same power and DVI cable the other LCD worked great.. Emailed ViewSonic.. and here is the response I got from them.
If this is the case, possible that you have a defective unit and we do apologize for that. It seems like the unit is brand new. This means the store where you bought the TV still cover the warranty of it. It would be better if you will send it back to them first for a replacement request.
We have a repair option here, however, it will take 15-21 business days and our replacement options here will take 7-10 business days. It would be much convenient it you will send it to the store where you bought for replacement request
I know newegg has a 30 day window for returns.. but this is just BAD PR on Viewsonic.. I have had very good luck with them in the past, but i guess they have to cut somewhere.
Overall Review: Will never buy a LCD online again!
Pros: Bright, good for sim racing. The stand is not as robust as flat panel monitor stands used to be, but it seems as good as or better than most "price-point" monitor stands these days.
Cons: None for me.
