Pros: Very good monitor for gaming and general usage.
Cons: There is no option to select the default input so if your PC doesn't send a video signal when the monitor is turned on it will cycle through all three inputs.
Amazing monitor at an unbeatable price11/19/2018 1:27:33 PM
Pros: Crystal clear display. Perfect 1080 functionality. Works great on a multiple monitor mount. Built in speakers have crisp and clear sound and get quite loud.
Cons: Cant think of any negatives for this monitor.
Pros: view sonic has a lot of memories for me, from the 19 inch CRT graphics professional monitor to the latest 27 inch wide screen. As a computer builder, I need monitors that add value to my gaming builds. Viewsonic and Newegg give me that value.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Clean lines and a thin frame allow smooth transitions between duel monitors. viewsonic ips pannels and low prices at newegg allow a great gaming experience.
Cons: The monitor was not bright and sharp. It had a discolored area about 3 inches in size in the middle. I returned it as a defective item and was relieved to get my money back!
Overall Review: I am keeping my 24 inch Viewsonic!

Pros: Excellent size, Excellent picture, A very good upgrade over the 22" monitor I had for years. The picture is so clear and crisp. With the narrow bezel it fits my desk great for a 27" monitor. I'm very happy with it. Viewsonic has a great reputation and I'm glad I went with their brand.
Cons: Speakers sound not the best, but if you're not listening to music on it they are just fine.
Overall Review: The price was very reasonable. I'm very satisfied with this monitor and I highly recommend it.
Pros: Crisp resolution was the first thing that stuck out. Thin boarders around screen (10 mm) which really brings out the real estate on the screen.
I'm using as an office monitor, so I can't speak to it on gaming configurations.
Cons: Adjusting buttons are behind monitor (instead of front or bottom) so you really have to reach under and feel buttons when adjusting. Not a big deal since I usually only adjust a monitor once.
Overall Review: I love it. Just connect it to a digital port (HDMA, Display Port or DVI). When I connect to VGA (even at 1920x1080) it looks a tiny bit blurry. I'm guessing this is true using analog signal on any 1920x1080 (the limits of VGA anyway).
For gaming and streaming shows I honestly wish I got something else ...8/10/2020 8:07:31 AM
Pros: It's big and it works.
Cons: I should have done more research before buying this. There are a multitude of issues I have with this monitor. The on/off switch is behind the monitor, and the only way to tell if the monitor is "on" when waking up your computer is if you tilt your head down underneath the monitor in the lower right hand corner to see if the tiny little blue LED is on or not. You must sit directly in front of this thing otherwise you won't see all of the picture. We bought the monitor this big so it could be used as a makeshift TV as well, but can't do that with this thing. Bad angles abound with it. Playing games on it is troublesome. Playing something like Doom or Project Cars 2 really brings out some of the bad in this monitor. I've noticed ghosting at times or screen tearing. I've had to really pay close attention to video settings in my games for this monitor to minimize this. Colors are a little lifeless on this monitor as well. They do not pop. I bought ViewSonic on purpose since my last ViewSonic monitor was so bright and vibrant. Best monitor I had ever owned. This one, though, reminds me of a budget Dell monitor you'd be using at work.
Overall Review: I'm a gamer with simple tastes. I'm no video snob or someone who has to be playing games in 4k to have a great experience. I still do the 1080p thing and I'm happy with that. What I do not like about this monitor is compared to my last ViewSonic monitor that was awesome, this one has a very blah presentation to it. The colors do not pop on this one like the one I bought about 5 years ago did, and you have to be sitting directly in front of thing to see the picture well much like the old school LED monitors and TVs of yesteryear. It is a big monitor, however, and if that's what you're going for primarily then I'd still recommend it.
