Pros: - Enough real estate to have all my necessary windows open.
- Speakers are adequate, stand is sturdy, weight is very reasonable
Cons: - It takes a bit to get comfortable with the control buttons, but the layout is reasonable
Overall Review: I needed a new monitor for working from home, as my home setup (two 23" monitors with DVI) didn't work well with my work laptop (Macbook Pro with USB-C thunderbolt 3.)
I wanted this monitor because it is one of the few in this price range that has multiple Display Port inputs (one standard, one mini.). I was worried about ordering a non-IPS monitor, but I figured no purchase is forever, so I pulled the trigger.
The monitor is quite handsome, with a small bezel. It can be VESA-mounted, but I don't have a stand large enough to handle two 32" monitors, so I haven't used it yet. The monitor is pretty bright and the color is good, though I haven't got out my Spyder to calibrate it yet. It also supports Samsung DEX with the right USB-C to DP cable, a nice surprise.
In all a very good purchase, and I wouldn't mind getting a another one when I decide to get a second monitor.
Pros: Frameless design freed up a little bit of space. My music studio has a small footprint and is densely packed with gear so I didn't have a lot of room to play with. I use it up close, but it is also large enough to watch movies on with family.
Build quality feels nice. For what I paid for it, I expected it to have a cheaper feel but it is well done.
No lag in the sound, important as the old TV/Monitor had a 50ms delay, which made using it for music production impossible as the metronome was out of sync.
From reading some of the other reviews, there are backlight issues, but after testing that, mine is 100% good.
It has other features but I don't use them. Just needed a nice compact 32" monitor at a decent price.
Cons: Goofy buttons could have been mounted along the bottom. No direct access to the volume control, its buried in a menu. Not terrible for me since all the sound I need the monitor to make is the metronome clicks but I could see that being annoying for anybody who actually use the speakers. I suppose you can get by using the control panel volume setting, but I don't/cant do that.
Overall Review: Other than goofy buttons and volume thing, I would recommend this for anybody wanting one big monitor.
Pros: With 2 weeks of light to moderate use I havent seen any bad pixels or other issues.
Stand is solid.
Cons: When viewing a dark or black image the backlight is visibly brighter within a half inch of the left edge. In other situations this isnt noticeable.
Overall Review: Solid budget monitor.
Pros: Clear and bright
Overall Review: I've been using two of these for about 6 months, and they are great! I can't hardly stand to look at a regular HD monitor any more!
Pros: Affordable with thin bezel and no external power brick - Thin & light with a classy look.
Cons: Uneven backlight and a slight bleed
The stands leave a lot to be desired with no swivel, rotate, or height elevation.
Overall Review: These are a good option if you need a large monitor with super high resolution at an affordable price. These are mediocre- not high end and so as long as that’s not your expectations you will be happy.
