This is passively cooled. It is a quiet option when noise isn't wanted. You would be better off looking for an actively cooled solution if you want a fan. However, only higher end units really need a fan. If heat is a concern, which isn't a problem with this card, you could make sure your pc is vented/cooled well. Cheers.

I have a 240 W power supply (Dell Optiplex 990). Will it work with this?

Also, is it compatible with QX2710LED monitor?

p.s. I am not using this for gaming, just repalcing my two 21" monitor with this one.

I'm using the card in a Dell Optiplex 780.with a 240 watt PS to drive two 21..5 Asus monitors and it works great.  Be advised that my card didn't come with half height card adapter bracket allowing removal of the VGA port.  I had a spare so all worked out.  Very pleased with the card though.  Runs very cool, low power draw, superb graphics.  One last point, if running Win 7, be sure that net frame 4.5 is installed or you'll likely encounter failure of the Catalyst engine and other install errors.  Hope this helps..….Tom

Hi,
I opened my pc and it appears that there is a 2 prong plug for fan power on the bottom rear corner.  
This is a great video card that never fails me.  It never gets hot or needs a cooling fan.  However, my pc is a large case with multiple fans in there.  I do leave it running 24/7.

It appears this card is ready for low profile, but nowhere in photos, or description does it say it comes with a low profile bracket.  Does it come with necessary low profile brackets?

Turns out I still had the box....checked it, but there was no low-profile bracket, and I don't recall one when I built the computer...sorry.

Why does it have so little stream processors and how does it affect the performance? Is it faster than lets say R4850 even though it has 10 times less stream processors?

when I ordered my card I ordered the 5450 but when I got my new card they sent me a HD 6300 I installed it n have had no problems it has all the little gadgets n whistles u can over clock the card if u choose too but I think u will find for a cheap video card it will perform better then u think my old card was a 4350 compared to this new card its much better then the old

I have have run it on a XP/Vista 32 bit and Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. AMD has a driver installer for windows 10 32 and 64 bit..

So, i would say yes, but i'm not a 100% sure.

I have no idea. 
I do not remember to see anything about a dolby option in software.
I use HDMI output only to have a second computer monitor.
On PC I have audio built in motherboard. Is DELL from 2006 and I wanted a better video card with low power usage to not buy a new PS for computer. This specific video card is using only 19W.

I have this video card to improve a Dell computer with two processors. This specific video card from this manufacturer use the least amount of power and it is not necessary to buy a new power supply for PC.
Minim investment and maxim performance
In theory the bigger the number the newer the design of the card and the card must be better (5xxx versus 6xxx).
I use this card with 2 monitors. One monitor for PC on computer desk and the other output ( HDMI ) for Netflix on a monitor installed on a bed stand at my head. 
With wireless keyboard I watch Netflix from bed.
Aim for a card with minim 1 GB RAM DDR 3 and better DDR 5 if you have a quad core. My son has bought a card with 2 GB DDR 5 RAM and a new Power Supply. He play on PC on Steam and is satisfied with the card. I do not play games.
