What's a Smart Call Blocker?
This system lets you block nuisance callers on the spot with one touch. What's more, it can filter robocalls and unwanted call while allowing welcome calls to get through. For screen out robocalls, set it to ask the callers to press the pound key. For screen out unknown callers, set it to ask the callers to record their names and press the pound key. After your caller completes the request, the phone rings and announces the caller's name. You then can choose to block or answer the call, or forward the call to the answering system.

Talking prompts walk you through the setup of your new phone's digital answering system, so you can be confident it's ready to record. Digitally record up to 22 minutes of incoming messages, outgoing announcements, and memos. The system also allows for slow playback, selective save or delete, and skipping or repeating messages from the handset and base, and remote access to listen to messages.

The large orange lighted display is designed for easy reading even in darker places. The buttons are generous in size measured to 15 x 12 mm, and placed with a 3 mm gap in between, easy for the elderly fingers to target and press. You can choose whether the digits are to be announced whenever you press the number keys. Another level of insurance to help the elderly to dial out the correct number, further reduce the chance of miss-dialing.

Instantly boost up the volume
The Audio Assist feature can temporarily increases overall volume by up to 50dB and enhances sound frequencies that make speech easier to understand. It is easy to use, just one press on the button on right side of the handset. Press again to turn off.
Ringer level from 5 to Ringer Off
The extra-loud ringer makes it easy to hear incoming calls throughout your home. You can set the ringer volume level of the cordless handset and telephone base to one of five levels, or turn the ringer off. Simply press Menu / Ringers / Handset or Base / Ringer Volume / Select.
Volume easily controlled
The volume control key is set on the handset's upper right side, and on the right side of the base unit, so that one can easily use it during conversation either using the handset or the base speakerphone. The volume control is using a big shaft key sliding upward or downward, a design particularly helpful for the elderly who often find their sense of touch weakened over time.
