How does this pen communicate with the PC ? pictures do not show a small USB WiFi or or anything else to do the job. Is the base connected through usb cable and the pen communicate wireless with the base ?

The pen communicates with the Wacom tablet, which is connected to your computer via USB. The tablet can recognize different kinds of pens, and sometimes they break (if your cat knocks it off of the desk too many times), which is why it is sold separately. When you purchase a Wacom tablet, it comes with a pen.

Will this pen and its buttons work with other Wacom screens in tablets of other brands?  I have a Lenovo Helix 2 that is a Wacom technology screen/pen.  Thanks.

No, this only works with the Inuos  4 and 5 Pro and the Cintiqs released at the same time or since those. The pen that worked for me on an ASUS tablet with Wacom technology was the Wacom UP-710A Digital pen. I don't know if it will work for your brand and model however.

In the description, it says it comes with 10 nibs, but the picture only shows 6. How many of each type of nib does the pen include?

According to box description, it contains 6 Nibs - 3 standard Balck Pen Nibs & 3 Stroke Nibs

Will this pen work on Intuos small pth-451?

I am using it on an Intuos 5 Touch small pth-450, which is just an older version of the 451 and it works fine.
