Join NASA's intrepid crew on a mission to recover the Infinity Space Probe from a galactic rift in this action-adventure platformer based on the animated movie. There's just one thing – they're chimpanzees. Commander Titan and Lt. Luna are joined by Ham, a circus performer who's a grandson of NASA's first space primate and he's more than a little uncertain about having "the right stuff." They soon find the lost probe crashed on an alien planet where the tyrannical Zartog is mind-controlling the Fluvians.
Play alternately as Ham or Luna as they work to recover the probe and free the aliens. Use your Wiimote to help Ham swing from vines, jump off walls and bounce his way from springy mushroom to sliding down a pipe. He also gets to mix it up with the opponents with combos and area attacks such as his ground-slam attack. Or, he can creep past his enemies and knock them out when they're not looking. Luna's levels involve problem solving (she is the smart one, after all) but she gets a Fluvian to help her with shooting targets.
Free the Fluvians from their mental control and they'll assist in your quest. Two players can battle co-op style or one player can take on the challenge alone with an advanced AI-controlled partner alongside through 13 levels of action. Unlockable cooperative arenas feature the chimpball, Fluvian riding and more. The lushly rendered, brightly colored environments were developed to be faithful to the movie. More than two dozen monsters and new environments not seen in the film take you beyond the big screen.
