Is LiveSecurity the only subscription required by this router? How much does it cost to renew LiveSecurity subscription?

No subscription is required to run router. They sell routers with 30 day trials up to 3 yrs I think. Las is for your basic maintenance patches, and does provide support to setup but this isn't for the faint of heart. I bought it for a solid VPN and its robust through put to handle faster ISP loads as I have a 250GB Fiber to the home office.

Is this watchgaurd firewall licensed per user? If so how many do they come with?

The Live Security subscription is based on the appliance and is not user based. This applies to the other subscriptions as well. BOVPN and Mobile VPN is based on the appliance and that dictates the number is supports. You can purchase additional BOVPNs and MobileVPNs from Watchguard. If you have specific bandwidth requirements you may want to take a look at the XTM-25/25W or the XTM-26/26W. They allow more VPNs and increased bandwidth.
