Watercool HEATKILLER® NSB Rev3.0 Nickel Universal Water Block, G1/4, Copper (10203)

A chipset water block that can be mounted on either the Northbridge or the Southbridge of almost any mainboard. The Watercool HEATKILLER® NSB Rev3.0 Nickel has a copper base and a nickel-plated copper top, with two mounts for a diagonal hole spacing of 43.0 to 79.2 mm.

One block for many Mainboards

Watercool says the HEATKILLER NSB 3.0 series combines performance and maximum compatibility. This Mainboard waterblock is designed to ensure a fit on most boards, with a flexible mount to adapt to virtually all applications.

Two mounts are shipped with it: size S (43.0 to 59.0 mm) comes fitted, and size M (59.5 to 79.2 mm) is in the box. The whole block can be rotated against the mount, so the orientation of the holes is irrelevant. An optional size XS mount covers 45.3 to 52.9 mm.

Cooling plate and top

The cooling plate is highly pure electrolytic copper and has a very efficient cooling structure, which also allows a very low flow resistance. Despite the compact footprint, the connection threads have a full 22 mm spacing. The upper plate is pure copper too, additionally plated with nickel. On the plain copper version it is coated with a special clear lacquer instead to prevent tarnishing. The mounts and the inlays are made from brushed stainless steel.

What the loop needs

With no defined inlet or outlet, the two G1/4 ports take two fittings.

Notes

• To change or align the mount, open the block from the bottom with an H1 cross screwdriver, and do not forget the enclosed seal.
• Tighten the screws alternately and not too tightly: the sensitive Northbridge can be damaged by excessive or one-sided pressure.
• Watercool recommends distilled water.
