An external radiator for systems that run hard

Watercool calls the MO-RA IV the ultimate solution for cooling-intensive systems: overclocked gaming computers, workstations, or servers that are in use around the clock. In its words this monster radiator, with a modular design and versatile expansion options, sets new standards in terms of cooling performance and workmanship quality.

Optimized fins, 38 m of pipe and 5 bar stable

For improved performance, Watercool says it has adapted the fin geometry to the current generation of fans, and the fins are now corrugated. That shape ensures optimized airflow across the entire speed range and more mechanical stability. Since there is no substitute for surface area, the MO-RA IV 400 carries 3.2 square meters of aluminum.

Inside, a raised pre-chamber is there to ensure better pressure distribution across 4 parallel rows of pipes: 80 pipes in total, with a total pipe length of 38 m. The connection terminal is made of solid brass and is now firmly soldered to the pipe geometry. That gives an increased mechanical load capacity at the connection terminal and lets the radiator hold a pressure of up to 5 bar. Before delivery, all MO-RA IV radiators are pressure tested.

Modular and expandable

Thanks to its modular design, the radiator can be expanded and adapted extensively. Besides the optionally available STAND, it can be easily mounted on a wall using the WALL MOUNT for the 200 and 400, which the washers on the radiator side anchor in place. A flow-optimized MO-RA TANK with one or more pumps can also be installed in just a few steps. Depending on requirements, you can put together an external cooling station of the highest class, of course with the highest quality workmanship. The stands, tanks and controls are listed under MO-RA IV accessories, and a HEATKILLER Tube adapter clicks a HEATKILLER Tube reservoir onto four pins screwed to the back of the housing.

Notes

• Contamination may remain in the radiator from production, so Watercool recommends rinsing it with clear water before first use.
• Screws used on the radiator may not reach deeper than 8 mm into the heat exchanger; longer screws might damage the pipes.
• Watercool recommends demineralized or deionized (distilled) water with a suitable corrosion inhibitor as coolant, or a ready-mixed fluid such as Heatkiller Fluid, Innovatek Protect or Aquacomputer Double Protect.
