The filter can remove harmful substances while retaining beneficial calcium and magnesium, which are the main components of inorganic salts. If you want to physically remove TDS, your best option is the Waterdrop RO system.

?Directions?
Before first use, soak the filter in cold water for 10 minutes. Please do not use a dishwasher to clean the product. Insert the filter into the reservoir. Then add cold tap water. The first three pitchers of filtered water may contain carbon dust, use on plants or discard. It is completely normal to find residual particles of carbon dust in the water while rinsing or soaking the filter. Replace the water filter every 200 gallons or 3 months.
