What should I do if you could not get internet from the wifi signal of the wavlink device after I connect it to the modem?
Please make sure you should select the correct wan type----PPPOE or DHCP or Static ip.
If you are not sure, please connect the modem to your pc via Ethernet cable and check if you could get internet. Normally, if you could get internet.Please choose dhcp as the wan type. If you could not get internet, please choose PPPOE as the wan type. If you still meet some problem, please be free to contact our support team: postsales @ wavlink . com
2.The device gets hot, is it as expected?
It is as expected when it is working, if it does not affect the usage, please do not worry about that.
3.The internet speed is not as expected or I often lost connection with the wavlink device, what should I do?
(1)Please try to connect the 5g signal of the wavlink device, normally it could provide better performance.
(2)Try to change the wireless channel of the wavlink device. For 5g, please try to choose 36 or 40 or 44, for 2.4g, please try to choose 1 or 6 or 11. (To avoid crowded channel)
(3)Try to reset the device by pressing the reset button for configure the device again.
