Yes will work on windows 10. I use it on 10 myself with no problems so far.

Ps4 controller is not connecting. I installed the CD that came with. It detects the controller but doesn't connect to it. Would this issue have to do anything with me being on Windows 7?

Sounds like a driver issue. If its the PS4 Dual Shock controller you need to click on "Install DS4 driver". If you have Windows 7 you need to click on " Install 360 driver" as well.

I have a windows 10 tablet with bluetooth on it.  If this bluetooth dongle is inserted into the USB port on a video projector, will the dongle allow for the image on the tablet to be shown through the projector?  I am trying to come up with something to use in class while presenting presentations.

Your best bet is to try it out.  If it does not work check with your computer manufacturer, then Microsoft Windows 10 to learn what they suggest.  I wish you success in seeking out a viable solution.

I'm using Windows 10.  All I did was plug it in and it worked.  Only thing I have used it for is bluetooth headphones.

My PC with Windows 10 did not have bluetooth, I works fine with my bluetooth speaker, smartphone and tablet

Works fine with my Dualshock 4 controllers. Just don't get too far away or have objects in the path.

I currently use it to connect to a Bluetooth speaker from my older Windows 7 Dell laptop. I haven't tried it but depending on your hardware, you probably could connect to multiple devices at the same time.

Can this be used to stream audio/music from a phone to my PC?

Yes, audio only but it is Bluetooth 4.0 so it will only reach about 30 feet away uninterrupted.
