This adapter did not work for me since I wanted the adapter to use in a theater where presenters bring their own laptop and don't want to load driver software.  I returned it and bought a VicTsing adapter that does is really plug and play without the need for additional software.  This is what I bought that works very well, simple to hook up and much less expensive. VicTsing-Gold-Plated-Active-Adapter-Converter.

No, I did work on my Mac OS 10.13.  I went to seller site and follow their instructions, still not work. They lied, the description said it work on MAC but not. I tried to return it but Newegg did not respond to me. I am very frustrated. Do not buy it.
