Can i install this in my car and use it to stream music to my tablet?

You can, but it's far from the best idea. The N900 is a desktop router with a built-in hard drive, basically a NAS, and is made to be used indoors and not be moved. It hasn't the shock mounting necessary for a portable drive. It's also fairly large and would be difficult to set up. And why would you need a multi-band router in your car? A better idea is a portable hard drive hooked to an auto power supply which can then be hidden when not in use. Hope I've helped.

I bought the n900 to replace dlink dir 857.  After 2 months of really slow wireless performance, and trying to rectify the problem (I even upgraded my docsis 3.0 modem, subscribed faster cable broadband speed) I went back to the dlink router.

Question 4

Will there be an issue adding this to a LAN that already has two wireless routers?  If not, is there a written procedure for doing so? (adding a 2nd or multiple wireless routers to a LAN) Thanks EW

The options in this router are almost endless. but as far as the procedure... I'd google for a pdf manual .. I can't post links here.. I wish I had a clear cut answer for you, I can tell you that it's worth looking into..if there was a router than can do it... it's this one.. if you're techy.. then this is your router...  if you're not , like me.. it's a plug n play....yea I know.. lousy  post..  but the router options are worth the look..to many to explain..
