Pros: keeps, all graphics cards that it works on very cool and quiet.

Cons: was missing one heat sink and all others were too tall to fit under cooler w/o touching. ( see other thoughts). GTX 780 and titan have issue with fans going to max no matter what and arctic says its the card ( I feel it's the cooler). either way make sure you can hook it up to other power area or fan controller.

Overall Review: my gtx780 idles at 27-29c and never gets above 46 while gaming in any heavy game. I use these on every card I buy and had spare heat sinks from other builds so had the extra one and have good garage and tools so was able to shave the extra off them to fit under. All of these coolers work great and always have. These things add considerable weight to graphics card and Pcie slot so I either cut a wooden dowel to fit to support the far end or in some cases use a tie wrap to the top depending on case. If you support it you save that slot from getting bent and it will if you do not support it. Should have gotten a 5 egg but for it's kit problem and fan problem it loses an egg. Still the best cooler out there so yes buy it.

Pros: 1. Much quieter than the fan in the reference design cooling system and I cannot hear the fan even at 100% speed. 2. Lower idle temperature by more than 10C and running Furmark temperature is lower by about 15C. 3. Decent customer service. Tech support responded by sending me the manual when I left a message on their support site that I cannot find the manual initially.

Cons: 1. Instructions for installation is not trivial and the best way is to find examples on the web on how to install it. 2. Thermal compound mixture curing is temperature dependent which was not mentioned in the instruction. If your room temperature is below 18C, it will take much longer than 5 hours for it to cure. I placed my card next to a heater overnight and all the heat sinks are now firmly in place. 3. The ax7970 cooler works really well but it will dump a lot heat in the case. When running Furmark, my case temperature increased by about 10C and you will need very good airflow to avoid temperature build-up.

Pros: i definitely recommend taking the time and install the heatsinks on the VRM. those little guys can get easily get into the 100c+ range. they're suppose to have a max operating temp of up to 120c, but NOT recommended. i do have to state that i didn't use the included thermal glue mixture. i've heard many horror stories of it not holding up, and since i have some spare Arctic Silver Alumina laying around, i just used my own alumina epoxy to install the heatsinks. now my card runs at 1200mhz core and 1600mhz mem with a constant 60c temp compare to the original stock frequency of 800 mhz Core and 1250 mhz memory, that's a 50% overclock!!! and VRM stays cool. what can i say, i am happy. this card should last me for years to come. :)

Cons: even for an avid computer modder like myself, i took a serious 2+ hours putting this thing together. mostly due to lack of explanation on the manual's part, but also due to the four different types of PCB configurations that's out there for 7950/7970. both 7950 and 7970 have their own reference PCB layout design, and NON-reference design. due to this, VRM layout can vary widely from card to card. my non-reference Sapphire 7950 had two rolls of VRM layout, instead of one roll of the reference design. due to this i had to use different combinations of VRM heatsinks that came in the package, AND cut a few pieces myself to cover all the VRM chips. as VRM cooling is one of the main reason why i upgraded from the stock cooling. it was very vital for me to get it right for the VRM. the memory chips coverage were very straight forward.

Overall Review: if you're running your card on stock frequency, this heatsink upgrade is way overkill consider the price tag. however, i run my card at 1100mhz core and 1600mhz memory @1.15vcore. with the stock filmsy cooler that came with the card, i was averaging 70~80c degrees for the core and 80~85c for the VRM. with this cooler installed at the same core/memory frequency i get 50c+ degrees for the core and 60c+ for the VRM. this allowed me tons of headroom to push the card higher. i am now able to run the card 24/7 at 1200mhz Core frequency and 1600mhz memory @1.225 vcore. at full load playing BF3 i average 60c degrees core and 70c degrees for VRM at a constant 84 Fahrenheit indoor ambient temperature, that is VERY impressive consider with the stock cooler at 1200mhz core with 1.225 voltage would put my card in the 90c+ degree arena for the core and 100c for VRM or more. at the same 1200mhz core voltage in Furmark, core temp average at around 65c and VRM stays at a reasonable 80c. now my card run

Pros: Silent I change fan speeds and i cannot hear it change speeds or at all at 100%, while litecoin mining with 75 degree ambient temps it is sitting at 55 degree C(fans only 62%) on a XFX 7970-TDFC Dual DVI Dual dissipation overclocked to 1000MHz Core. it is soo much cooler than the 75-80+C i would get with stock cooler. stock fans fail every month and have to keep RMA them i got tired of XFX and the fans so i bought this and all problems solved not only does it cool better but its silent. you cant beat that.

Cons: only con really is how long it took to install which was about 3-4 hours to do it RIGHT. I used Non conductive Arctic Silver Alumina thermal adhesive and it works very well. the included adhesive was pre mixed and already half dry, while I could have finished the install with it I messed up and followed the directions exactly which say to squeeze out entire contents with pliars, but what they dont tell you is this stuff hardens in a matter of 3-5 minutes so i barely got on 2-3 parts before it started to harden with 10+ more pieces needing install this was a problem, I started over scraped it all off and got the arctic silver and re did everything 1-2 pieces at a time. the card is 2-3 inches longer than before and takes up over 2 case expansion slots. two cards will be the max you fit on a 3 pci-e board. and in order to do that you need a Thermaltake armor series full atx mega tower to clear it, thankfully i have one ... your not getting this in a Antec 300/600/900 ... the included tape to block shorts fell apart and i could not even peel it off the paper and did not use any, I just made sure nothing touched and to my luck no smoke and flames when turning on the card.

Overall Review: I recommend putting out very little adhesive at a time and affixing 1-2 pieces at once and then put out more adhesive and take your time to give maximum clearance from all other devices. I cleaned all surfaces with Q tips and 90% alcohol and dried everything off, also cleaning heat sink surfaces for max bonding. I bought Akasa or asaka whatever brand adhesive thermal tape to affix the coolers to the voltage regulators because of how many electrical leads there are i put one long piece wide enough to cover both rows of V regs. everything else got thermal adhesive, the tape did not stick very well to the small devices. If you do the install correct and take your time this product cannot be beat anyone else complaining about install difficulty needs to understand this is just the mechanical/physical requirement to do this job correctly. if you cant install parts without shorting out the unit or fail to clean with alcohol very generously every single component than I am sorry for your failure in advance.

Pros: Virtually silent (even at 90% fan speed). Significantly lower GPU temps even when overclocked to 1200/1800

Cons: - the G1 thermal paste included is complete garbage. The slightest touch on a VRM heatsink will cause it too fall off.

Overall Review: Love the cooler but ended up being more work than it needed to be installing it. Initially installed using the supplied paste but noticed VRM temps were way higher than GPU temps. I figured this was due to the cheap G1 paste they supplied so I ordered the Arctic Silver Thermal Adheisive ATAA-5G. The stuff cures so much faster (10 mins max) and it ACTUALLY STICKS! Haven't tested the temps yet on VRM but I'm sure I'll see a difference. NOTE: If you decide to use Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive I highly recommend the ceramic based AATA-5G as opposed to the AATA-7G which contains silver and has a chance of shortening your board if it touches other components on the card.

Pros: I really don't know where to begin with this cooler, I guess when I decided to spend $79 on a cooler for my 7970 I didn't want to skimp so I also got Zalman STG-2 for the GPU and Arctic Silver Arctic Alumina to use on the VRMs, RAM and misc components on the PCB. When I was done with the install the cure time was only two hours with the Arctic Alumina adhesive and I went ahead and tested it out. This cooler blew my mind, I kept the fan at 100% because you can barely hear it anyways and then ran some test. I threw a render test to keep the GPU load at 100% while watching the temps in GPU-Z and AMD CCC. The GPU did not go over 36c, Yes that is correct 36c under full load, VRMs hit a WHOPPING 39c, Idle temp was 23c. I just didn't even know it was possible on a card that can exceed 300 Watts.

Cons: Your Joking.

Overall Review: No it was not the case's airflow that helped because I had two fans (front and rear) which is nothing but ordinary. It's this fantastic cooler. I really think the secret to this cooler is just how far it rises off the card, There is so much space for air to disperse off the fins and onto the component heatsinks. Excellent Design and Excellent Product. Buy It.

Pros: Unbelievably quiet. I thought the power wire became unplugged from the card but the fans were spinning quietly and keeping the card way cooler than the stock fan and heatsink.

Cons: Size and installation process but that was to be expected for the cooling and proper adhesion of the parts.

Overall Review: The stock fan was annoyingly loud even at only 60%, this thing is silent at 100%. I highly recommend this cooling option as a means to reduce pollution, noise pollution.

Pros: -Keeps the GPU VERY cool! -Almost COMPLETELY silent........at 100% rotation -The 4-pin power connection to the fans connects directly onto the graphics card itself for no hassle. -Comes with MANY heatsinks for rest of the components of the card.

Cons: -Installation is VERY cumbersome. -3 slot cooler, although I can't complain with its performance. -No LED fans, but thats no biggie. -Not a big fan of the thermal "glue" that had to be put on for the smaller heatsinks. -Didn't like that "thermal tape." seems kind of dumb. -The mechanism for attaching the heatsink to the GPU could have used a more user friendly design.

Overall Review: This is NOT for novices. This cooler was not an easy installation. It was fine for me as I've done many cooler installations, but if you've never done one, DON'T BUY THIS. However, if you're not, then this is a GREAT cooler so long as you have the 3 slots for it Stock cooler Accelero Idle tem[: 44c 36c Load while gaming Diable 3: 65c 48c Furmark 1080p benchmark: 75c 57c Keep in mind that with the stock cooler and gaming, it was quite adible and with Furmark, it sounded like a typhoon in the case. With the Accelero the ONLY time I could hear it, was on the Furmark 1080p benchmark.......and only just barely! BOTTOM LINE: FANTASTIC cooling, pain in the behind to install.
