My 3x 290x already are very close together in my PC. Will this make them larger and therefore unable to fit?

Does this cool only a single GPU, or can it cool 2? I have dual GTX Titans and I want to know if I should by two of these or one. Thanks

All coolers are meant to cool only 1 card. I beg of you not to try and cool 2 Titans with one cooler unless you're going with water cooling.

I too have 2 of these coolers in my rig right now cooling my 2 GTX 780's, so they'll work just fine with 2 GTX Titans, but keep in mind they will butt up against each other (not electrically, so no worries there).

You can make SLI work just fine with this cooler and 2 slot spacing and 1 card will always run warmer than the other, but it works best with 3 slot spacing, making an SLI setup a tight squeeze.

Congrats on the 2 Titans...hope you got a good deal since I personally think it's WAY overpriced unless you're using them for 4k gaming. I got my 2 780's for $500 each and it just devours any game I throw at it at any resolution and stays nice and cool :)

Has this product been modified to include enough vram heatsinks and to have proper instructions now?

I don't believe it has. You can email the company and ask for more VRAM heatsinks and they will send them free of charge. At least that's what they did for me. In terms of the directions you should be able to follow theirs somewhat. There are many guides out there on the Internet how to install this exact cooler on r9 series. Hope this helps.

Hi. I put it on my r9 290 no problem. If the boards are the same it should fit. You may need 4 more ram heat sinks depending on how many modules your card has. If works great cools my card 20 degrees less than stock with high overclock and very quiet.

There's a great Tom's Hardware article about using this on an R9 290. The article mentions that the cooler itself measures: 
288 mm (Length) x 104 mm (Height) x 54 mm (Width).

It also says that when installed on an R9 290 the dimensions are:
Length 320 mm
Height 120 mm (From Top Edge of PCIe Slot)
Depth 60 mm (2.5-Slot)
5 mm Back-Side (Through Back Plate)

I read this model dont have enough heatsink for RAM in 290X, someone installed? its necessary buy extra heatsink? Thank you

It doesn't have enough "perfect fit" heat sinks but you can easily make it work. It comes with many multiple sizes. I used some of the long thin ones and doubles them up on the top row, so that there were two heatsinks covering the same two ram modules. Its worked well. Just be creative and line them up nicely before they dry. One thing to note is use the medium length black standoffs and not the clear ones for the 7800 series or there will be way too much flex in the board.

Doesn't specifically mention the 7970 but does mention nearly every other card in the family.  Anyone know if this baby works on 7970 reference cards?

They had to make a special 7970 edition because the stock cooler rotated the GPU 45 degrees from normal. You could use it with a converter, but at that point, your cooling performance will drop to about that of the reference design. Honestly, for the 7970 I'd save the hassle and just buy a card that already has a decent non-reference cooler.

Is this cooler compatible with the new Radeon R9 290?

Yes it will fit the 290.  I recently bought and installed one on my 290x and the 290 is almost identical.  The Xtreme III comes with 12 heatsinks for the memory but the 290 needs 16 of them, so you will also have to purchase atleast 4 more heatsinks for the memory.  Something similar to the following links should work. Just search for "vga heatsink", you'll need at least 4 of them.  They should be roughly .25 inches (13mm) square in size.  I'm not sure how tall they can be.

Can this fit and cool a Radeon R9 290X sufficiently? Also, how does the small heatsinks fit over the memory and transistors? Would any damage come to using the small heatsinks?

Checked the manufacturer site, yes it will work with your card, lists it specifically.(http://www.arctic.ac/us_en/products/cooling/vga.html)

The small heat sinks come with a thermal adhesive to affix to the mem chips.  I don't know about your card specifically, but they worked wonderfully on my 7970.  The stock cooler generally has contact points over the ram chips which most universal aftermarket heatsinks lacks.  If you don't use these, your card is almost certainly going to die.
