1. Why doesn’t the light turn on during the day? How do I test the motion sensor during the daytime?
Because the photocell (dusk-to-dawn sensor) automatically prevents the light from turning on in daylight. This is not a defect.
Use Manual Mode.
2. Why does the light stay on all the time?
Most likely the light is in Manual Mode (activated by the red button or wall switch).
Switch to Security Mode or Dusk-to-Dawn Mode.
3. How do I change the lighting mode?
By pressing the red button on the base:
1 press = Manual
2 presses = Security
3 presses = Dusk-to-Dawn
4. The light flashes?
Make sure there are no reflective objects around the light and the direction of the sensor avoids the light head directly.
5. Does this light run on solar power?
No. This is a hardwired 110V AC light and requires installation into a junction box.
