Is the brush roller powered or does it turn from the air pressure?

i believe the brush roller attachment is air-pressured.  i imagine the brush roller on the base is powered, but please don't quote me on it.  if there's a way of checking, i'll be glad to look when i get home....  hope this helps.

Are there any attachments that come with it?

Yes, a lot of attachments come with it.  There's an extension rod to get corners.  There's one of those little square attachments with the fuzz on the perimeter to get ceiling fan blades and other dusty things I guess.  Hands down, the best two attachments are a little rotary mechanism for hand held usage to help clean couch/ car upholstery.  If you have pets, this is AWESOME.  The other attachment that gets usage in my house is one that you push on wood flooring/ hard surfaces (it comes with two cloth pads).  We like this one cause it vacuums our wood floors and we don't have to worry about scratching that might come from the vacuum wheels on the wood.  We've been very pleased with our model of the Shark.

Does it have the Cord Rewind feature?..looking at the picture looks like it doesn't have it...

No, it doesn't.  Just two "hooks" that you have to manually wrap it around.

is it quiet?

I wouldn't say quiet per sat but it works really great. I know some vacuums are louder. I really like this one. I have the old purple shark which still works great. I bought this one for a different floor in my house. Picks up dust and other stuff u can't even see.

How much does it weigh? Any Dyson converts??

I got this because I have stairs and this is much lighter then my old vacuum. I think it is really better than the Dyson's I have used. I like the fact that you can detach the canister for the stairs.

I have no idea idea how much it weighs.  I'm sure if you search around on their website or online you can pull up some specs.
And yes, it is for carpets as well as hard flooring.

What is the actual size of the the clear collection canister?

Hey Leslie,

The actual clear portion of the cannister is approximately 10" tall and 6" wide.  It's a great vacuum cleaner, my wife and I haven't had any complaints.
