The kettle accommodates 1 liter (33.8 fluid ounces) of water, with a clearly marked internal Max Fill indicator to prevent under or overfilling.
To address mineral buildup, simply combine 1/4 cup white vinegar with 3/4 cup water, let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For external cleaning, simply wipe the heating base or kettle exterior with a damp sponge and dry with a clean cloth. Never submerge the kettle or its heating base.
