If you were to scan a set of checks then print them out would each check be on one sheet of paper or is there a way to scan them so, say, you have four to a page if you need to print them?

If you are scanning them individually, not as a set on one page, then each scanned image becomes its own page in pdf or other formats. They can be combined after the fact using Nuance Power PDF included with the scanner software or some other program depending on what format you are using. 
I do not know of a way to combine them within the scanner's base program or the OneTouch interface.
