A hi-speed USB 2.0, duplex color scanner, it can handle everything from business cards and checks to legal-sized and other long documents. And it takes up no more space than your average desktop printer.

The DocuMate 262 scans up to 33 pages per minute in duplex mode at 200dpi resolution in B&W, includes a 50-page automatic document feeder and can achieve image scans at up to 600dpi resolution and 48-bit color depth, so you get sharp images without the loss of fine details. Dual scan heads scan both sides of a page simultaneously, creating up to 66 images per minute.

The scanner incorporates Visoneer's OneTouch technology for eliminating multiple steps in sending scanned documents to predetermined applications or devices. The scanner offers a professional software bundle that includes Kofax VirtualReScan that provides such capabilities as autoexposure and wide angle de-skew. VRS also helps improve the accuracy of recognition software, thereby reducing the need for manual correction of intelligent character recognition and OCR results. It also ships with advanced ISIS and TWAIN drivers allowing the 262 to communicate with advanced electronic content management (ECM) software applications.
