Does this scan both sides of the page at once?

The way I scanned a 2 sided copy was, I pressed duplex and it scanned the first page, then I turned the page over and pressed duplex again and scanned the 2nd page. Then it appears on your computer screen as 2 pages. When you print your pages you tell your printer to print in duplex and it will come out printed on both sides of the paper. This machine is easy to use and I just love it.

How many pages can be scanned at once?

I can place 50-60 documents in the automatic feeder at a time.  It can also can both sides of a document, and it scans letter and legal size paper.  I bought mine in July 2013 and I have used it heavily and it keeps on working perfectly.

The scanning bed is 8 by 11...so you can scan letter size pages one at a time...if that's what you really want to do.

Anyone tried 3220 with new Windows 10? My documate 515 will not work with windows 10 at all.

I have a Xeros DocuMate 3220 connected to USB 3 port on a Windows 10 Pro computer and it works without much trouble.   I use the One Touch software for scanning.

Is this a network scanner or is this dedicated to one computer?

dedicated to one computer; no network (RJ-45) interface on the system. I believe Xerox has a network attached scanner, but I do not know the model number.

is this MAC compatible?

yes, I believe there were to install cd's one for windows and one for apply.  Not sure about how you would connect to an apple since the connection to the windows computer is usb.

Can this scanner scan directly to a USB Flash drive?

No, not directly. You would need to use the scan software to direct the scanned image to a USB attached to your desktop.

How many pages can be put in the tray?

30-40, but sometimes you can keep adding documents to the top of the ADF and pull them off, and get a bigger run, this is good in OCR jobs.

Question 10

The ADF is dead. Never worked. I cannot use it. All lights are ok.
Any suggestion?  I have Windows 7 Pro in a powerful PC.
