Xerox DocuMate 5540 Document and ID Cards Scanner Ideal for Numerous Professions
The document feeder holds up to 50 sheets at a time so you can trust it to scan longer contracts and documents. The Xerox document scanner can also scan a wide range of business card sized documents, including plastic IDs and credit cards, so medical offices and licensing bureaus can maintain a trove of digital files. It also automatically detects and scans two-sided documents at up to 40ppm and 80ipm to get through large batches quickly.
High Resolution Output and Cloud Interactivity
This duplex document scanner captures images at full 24-bit color and 600dpi resolution so you get clear, readable images every time. The push-button control panel allows for up to nine one-button pre-saved shortcut commands, enabling easy operation for everyone on the team. Select from a range of digital file outputs, including searchable PDFs, and utilize the included software to share those files via email or upload them directly to the cloud.

Custom color and multicolor dropoutThe powerful color dropout feature allows the user to specify up to three custom colors to be removed during scanning by simply previewing a sample page and selecting a location that contains the unnecessary color.
Innovative roller-based page separationThe DocuMate 5540 includes a 70-page automatic document feeder (ADF). And, the roller-based page separation provides reliable paper feeding and longer lifespan than pad separation technology, reducing scanner maintenance.
