Yes the Xerox WC6027 supports Apple Air Print over wired and wireless networks. Xerox provides drivers for Mac OS 10.6 and above with full scan and print support.

How many paper feed trays are there?

There is only one paper feed tray (or that I can see). I'm sure it will take paper longer than 8.5x11 paper but I've never tried.

Do I need to put  in a "chip" when I change my toner cartridge Xerox Workcentre 6027?

Accepted Answer

There is no need to do anything when you change carts. The printer will warn you on the LED panel when you insert a non-Xerox cart, but it does not prevent the unit from operating. I've never bought a Xerox cart, as they're 3x the cost of non-OEM's. The printer will still read and display the ink capacity for you, so there's really no down side and you'll save a ton of money.

Is Xerox 6027 Windows 10 compliant?

Yes,  windows 10 picked up the printer as soon as it had a static IP assigned.  There is also a new Windows 10 scanner driver for it as well.

How many pages does this print before I will need new toner cartridges?

We keep several bought ahead  because they run out pretty fast but we use a all black printer HP printer so we print whole black stuff on a different printer so to stretch out our color printing if you use another printer for your black-and-white you will be happy with the Xerox if you don’t have a second printer you will not be happy with it because it uses color to make black

No. The cartridge holder is only 8.5-inches wide. It maxes out at 8.5x14.

Yes. Wireless direct works better (IMO) than the google print, although it could just be my connection to the interwebs isn't always the best.

Does manual duplexing mean you have to request it every time you want to use it, or that you have to take the paper out and feed it through again for the other side? Sorry for such a basic question. I am new to this. Thanks.

You are correct!   Once the first side is printed, remove the paper and place it back into the paper tray, and then press print and it will print the second side...
