Pros: This was on sale when I bought it and it was about the same price as a high end ink jet printer. The print quality is good. I was able to change the FAX settings to ignore incoming calls, so dial tone is available if I want to send a FAX but it will not answer an incoming call. I like the wireless capability so I am not tying up a physical port on my router.
Cons: I have yet to get scan to PC working, but I intend to continue playing with it. So far the scanner works well to a USB.
Overall Review: I would recommend this printer to others. It is great for home use or small office.
Pros: I honestly believe that any of the negative comments about this printer have to do with user experience. This printer is easy to setup, easy to use and the most important thing about it is that it's not an inkjet printer! the toner doesn't dry out if you don't use it for a couple weeks, it just keeps on printing amazing prints.
Cons: Possibly a little challenging for the new user, but if you follow the directions or look up a video or two you should be fine.
Overall Review: again, nothing negative to say, every computer or laptop in the house prints to this printer with ease.
Pros: When it worked, I like that it is wireless and the additional features of printing from USB, faxing, and copying. It allowed me to use off-brand toner cartridges which saved a lot of money. I could use regular paper, card stock and labels very easily.
Cons: There isn't an easy way to 'clean' the printer when you change cartridges. The wireless connection didn't always work - sometimes I had to re-install the printer to get the wireless to work. The toner cartridges that came with the printer didn't have much toner at all - I couldn't even print 1/4 of the pages I was able to print with the off-brand cartridges. I refused to spend 3x the $$ on Xerox brand toner cartridges and get 1/4 of the printing. When a BLANK stripe started to appear in the same position regardless of how I printer or what application I printed from, I contacted their support. After numerous emails and action on my part (spread over time because I didn't have a lot of time to work on it), the printer is still leaving a blank stripe and I'm not getting much help from Xerox. I cannot take calls during normal business hours and that is the only time they would call me back.
Overall Review: I would NOT recommend this printer to anyone. My next course of action is to contact Newegg and see if I can return this.

It's a laser that should never have been sold on the market. It is absolute junk. I have had paper jam issues with this piece of garbage since I had it. There is no bypass, so printing envelops is a pain in the rear. I offered to give it back to Xerox by throwing it on their sidewalk in front of their building while having some media there. The only solution, since it was just out of warranty, was to purchase an extended warranty from them so that they would fix their piece of scrap machine that is obviously not fit for its intended purpose. After this experience, and Xerox's unwillingness to rectify , I will never buy another Xerox Product as I shall live.

Cons: I feel the device does perhaps take a bit to 'spool up' to do any type of printing.
Overall Review: If you're getting this device and plan on using the fax, be sure to have it's own fax line. The device does have distinctive ring option built in with 7 patterns. I had a single phone line and needed the fax to work but none of the patterns that are programmed into the device matched what my local phone company could setup on my phone line. Also no one at Xerox could find out what the actual patterns were.

Pros: It was fine when it worked
Cons: Started getting a grinding noise from the black toner. It has now devolved where toner no longer loads. Xerox is now dead to me as a company!
