Hello,

I bought 6

XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1251 120mm Blue LED Case Fan PSU Molex for a new build and like to know before I install them which way pull the air out or push in?

hi angel, you did not specify as to whether or not your liquid cooling your rig, so if your not useing a 120mm single  or 240mm double liquid cooler and all 6 fans are just for the case, i would recommend push air from underneath and the front of case and pull air out from the rear and top of case , considering hot air rises as a game plan. you could always put a small thermometer in the case as close to the processor as possible and on a hot day record the temp , then try a different combination of push pull and recheck temp in case, go with the best results. the better way to keep processor cool is to liquid cool it, corsair makes wonderful units, , then you can concentrate on the video card with the fans. just a suggestion, personally i prefer liquid coolers and very quiet fans, such as the noctuas line. then your rig is whisper quiet. good luck with your build, ive used quite a fewof those xigmatek fans on some previous builds, their awesome looking fans, youll love them.   yohimeys

lifespan of xigmatek cooling system crystal series CLF-F1251 Fan?

You never know lifespan of any product. I have mine connected up to a digital fan controller and have routinely left my system on for days at a time with zero problems. I placed one at my front grill pulling in, and one at my rear grill also pulling in. I have 2 80mm fans mounted on the side facing out (full mesh side) and my system stays very cool and these fans are very quiet! I am going to by a couple for my testing lab computer also.

Question 3

What is the difference between "fluid circulative bearing" and "fluid dynamic bearing"? I've been having trouble finding a definition for the former on the web.

I am sorry but I do not know the difference between the two types of bearings. however I have been using the Fluid Circulative Bearing fans in two computers for over a year and have had no trouble with them at all. very well made. perhaps the nicest fans I have ever seen. recommended highly.
