Fit my Lenovo Twist? HDD is SATA 3.0GB. The interface looks different in the picture

Not sure about the Lenovo Twist, but it is a very slim drive. It is Sata III(6GB/s) which is fully backwards compatibly with Sata II(3 GB/s)

Is the SSD backwards compatible to SATAII?

Yes, it is. The difference between SATA II & SATA III is the Windows Index score is a 7.8 instead of 7.9. Actual performance decreases are not really noticeable, but I would still recommend SATA III if you have it. But yes, it works fine and shouldn't have any problems!

While I'm not a mac user check the review comment by Elijah K who has this driving working in a slightly older macbook pro that looks very similar to your specs.  -Dan
