OVERVIEW

The Yokohama AVID Ascend LX is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Yokohama offers an 85,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. It combines the all season compound and the detailed asymmetric tread design to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The high-density siping pattern along the ribbed tread design increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while the compounds rubber materials maintain their rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. This combination enables the tires secure performance on ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The treads circumferential and lateral grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, enhancing the wet and winter traction and driving safety levels.

The tread designs ribbed pattern upgrades the tires surface contact throughout its performance. The better road contact manages to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
