What is GUASHA?
It’s a Chinese medical therapy that involves gliding a smooth surfaced tool along the body to break down tension and increase the free flow of healthy circulation in the tissues. It's most commonly used to relieve pain and tension, boost the immune system and, these days, to amplify skin and tissue health in the face with facial gua sha.

Hold the tool with the comb side facing your face. Don't pull down your face, this can lead to sagging over time. You can start at the neck and work your way up slowly. Use the tool gently on your chin, chin and mouth area.
Thigh
It is best to apply cream or essential oil to the area to be scraped before use. Remember to use light to medium pressure. If you notice any pain or severe skin redness, you might be massaging too harshly!
Neck
Gua Sha should form an angle of 45 degrees to the skin surface. These rules also apply to body massage. All movements in the process of working with gua sha should be smooth and unhurried, and the intensity of exposure to the skin should be medium or minimal.
Warning
Be very careful when the stone is oily or wet, it will be slippery and can break if dropped.
