I have a AMD Sempron(tm) 140 Processor in my HP Slimline s5305z. Would this CPU fan work for a cpu fan replacement?

I bought this at the request of my husband and I posed your question to him.  His reply was that he really doesn't know if it would fit your socket.  He wanted it for an Intel replacement and it worked for him.  Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Looking for coolers for a dual socket Opteron 8360 SE rig. The 8360s are 105 watt CPUs. Will these be powerful enough?

It's doing a good job on a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 95w CPU. Using a well ventilated case and running Intel Burn test (this test produces the most heat), it keeps CPU around 60c. This is with fan at 100%. Idle temps are around 38c with fan throttled down.
Normal workload temps are around 50c with fan still quiet.
I bought this cooler because It pushes air over the VRMs & Mosfets on my board.
