Is this supported on Windows 8?

We are on Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 but this is a pretty solid printer.  We have two similar models (one for UPS and one for SpeeDee).  I cannot speak to Windows 8 compatibility but I would not expect issues if you are using the basic drivers.

Is This printer a Direct Thermal printer and does it print 4" X 6" labels ?

yes to both questions. it's our second one--the first one lasted about five years--we print about 25 labels a day.

Does the printer allow a customer ip address from our network?

"Zebra does not provide a driver for use on Linux/Unix or Mac OS X operating systems but instead suggests the use of the Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) driver."
