Pros: This card has excellent range being a class 1 card, and seems pretty fast compared to my old BT 1.1 USB adaptor. My card doesn't have any extendable andenna so when its in the PCMCIA slot sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Will install and work with the Windows Bluetooth stack if you don't install the software on the CD. It has a couple little lights that blink, but they are dim so don't annoy me at all.
Cons: I don't like the Toshiba Bluetooth stack that comes on the CD as I wasn't able to get it to work with my Nokia phone. The Nokia software won't even detect the phone ont he bluetooth setting. I uninstalled and found/installed the Widcomm 5.0.1 stack and it works great!
Overall Review: I used the Widcomm over the Windows Bluetooth stack because I want to use it with a BT Headset as well and I have never been able to get the windows one to do audio. Also, in case anyone is wondering, it installs as a VIA PCMCIA USB controller and then installs as a USB Bluetooth adaptor connected to that USB controller.
