I'm not sure - I haven't tried that.

It will boot from a bootable USB flash drive.

That's how I installed Windows 7.1 and the device drivers. There are numerous web sites that describe the process for doing this. Once the flash disk has been made bootable, then the contents of the Widows 7 DVD can be copied to the flash drive. Although this does take some time, Windows 7 installs almost instantly.

The same process might work with an SDFC card.
