32GB seems to me very small for a normal Windows 10 desktop. Does it also have an internal SATA disk drive and, if so, can you install windows 10 on it so you have enough space for future updates, additional software, etc.?

It is enough for Windows 10, but just barely. There's no other boot option AFAIK. You might be able to get it to boot from an external USB drive, but I haven't tried. I put all of my media files on an SD card. Every time I need to run a feature update to Windows, I use the Media Creation Tool and two USB drives. This little dance lets me actually run the updates on a system with such limited primary storage. Generally, this is a great little box. I use it for a streaming music server, and it's perfect for that.
