Poor Bios 8/29/2015 12:48:13 AM

Pros: Small Size
Lots of USP Ports
Includes Ethernet

Cons: Bios does not support "ON" after power shutdown.
Runs hot.

Overall Review: My main use of this PC is in a remote location where power is sometimes recycled. Unlike every computer I have ever worked with, the Bios of this machine does not support turning the machine ON if power is recycled. This makes the machine useless for me.

Nice machine - major Issues 7/13/2015 12:35:17 PM

Pros: Small Size
Ethernet and 3 USB

Cons: 1) This machine has no option in the Bios to auto-restart after power off. Lack of this feature which is standard in all pc bios makes this a no go for us.

2) Has compatibility problems as it will not run programs that run on an Intel Stick. I had downloaded all Windows updates so there is something else.

Overall Review: Very disappointed. I had high hopes for this machine. I like Zotac products but this one needs some work.

Pocketable PC 3/21/2015 7:54:09 PM

Pros: I wanted a great looking unit to stream off of my office PC for the sole purpose of streaming media, and Steam streaming. I've looked into other units, but this caught my eye because I am able to take it with me anywhere I go. Very easy to setup and with Windows 8.1 pre-installed it is pretty much good to go out of the box.

Cons: I feel 2GB is not enough, and not having Gigabit LAN can be a drag.

Surprising Little Machine 3/12/2015 5:50:23 AM

Pros: - Small size and portability
- 3 USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet port make it usable anywhere
- Low power consumption for the ability to stay on 24/7
- Used as a NAS controller with teamviewer to remote in

Cons: - USB 2.0 only
- Gets hot, it reached 145 degrees GPU during heavy usage
- Keep on a raised surface for airflow
- Small SSD means you have to get a SD card

Overall Review: I know its only been one day but I put this little box through the ringer. After installing the 100 updates, and all the programs I began to test. Using teamviewer I just remote in to do all the configuration and it works. I plugged in a 1TB external 2.5inch hard drive, a USB hub with 2 8GB Flash drives and 1 1GB flash drive, HDMI to a 40inch tv, then plugged in a laptop cooling fan for a 17 inch laptop and it all ran and that is a lot of power being used. I currently have more plans for this little box, one is a controller for a 4 bay hard drive enclosure for a local NAS system. The other is as a controller for bitcoin scypt miners. Seeing how this uses such little power it would work perfectly for both.

I used Iobit Advanced System Care's performance monitor (which shows CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, and Network Usage. Along with heat monitoring for the CPU, GPU, Motherboard, and RAM) to watch it. It peaked at 150 degrees, to solve this I first put it just on top of my metal laptop cooling fan (not running) and it dropped it down to 135, then with it running it dropped it to 125 to 130. Still that is hot, be mindful of where it is and the ambient temperature of the room or you will have a smoking computer.

Idle RAM usage is 0.90 to 1GB. CPU idle usage is around 30 to 40 percent. However do not be alarmed if you run out of RAM, it just pages to the hard disk, which is an SSD, which is just a RAM stick that is non-volatile memory. So 2GB works because it has 2GB + however big the page file is on the SSD.

I also recommend getting a micro SD card for it. I got a 64GB one for $25. It is worth it. You get around 20GB to play with on the built in SSD however after updates and a few program files it dropped to 15GB fast. In summary, save the internal SSD for system files and updates.

To conclude, for the size, it is amazing. And by years end they will be even better. For a small amount more you can get a Zotac that is a little bigger and expandable but if travel, need an always on computer, or just need something to do basic tasks then this little computer will work.

Works well 2/15/2015 6:43:41 AM

Pros: Tiny. Setup is pretty straight forward -- simple if you're familiar with Win 8X. Silent. Excellent HTPC. Plays BD disks and 1920x1080 MP4s across LAN without hiccups using PowerDVD.

Cons: It does get a little warm, but that's to be expected. Have not had any problems, even after 5+ hours of continuous HD playback. Length of cable on AC converter is a bit short...

Overall Review: Definitely worth the money.

Zotac Mini PC Atom 12/28/2014 3:28:40 PM

Pros: This Zotac PI320 works pretty much as expected. I got into the bios by plugging in a wired usb keyboard and hitting delete during startup. It came with Win 8.1 which works ok, except I can't find "sleep/standby" Suspend is available. Don't know if this is due to Windows or the Zotac hardware.

Cons: Took about 3 weeks to get it ...was stuck in one place a week...probably a feature of SmartPost

Meh 11/30/2014 3:53:40 AM

Pros: Small, no fans, low power and quiet.

Cons: DOES not support 64 bit EFI booting or 32bit BIOS boot. Will only boot 32bit EFI. Getting linux to run on this computer is still very much a work in progress. Grub2 is not easily supported. CPU will run 64bit code but on-board EFI is 32bit and will only boot to a 32bit EFI boot loader. Contacted support for a possible 64bit EFI or 32bit bios load and no luck. 99%~ of the systems out there run either 32bit BIOS or 64bit EFI not 32bit EFI

Windows 10 32bit will load and install no issue however no drivers at this time for wifi and video.

If you are looking to run 64bit windows or linux look elsewhere. Support for this product both from Intel and Zotac was lack luster.

Disappointed would some things up.

Overall Review: Was looking for a small portable Python testing computer running x86. Will have to look elsewhere.

BTW I abhor windows 8.1
