Question 1

I really love this graphics card, I can play any game with it...but only problem is that why does it get louder when I play games? then it goes back to normal then it gets louder?

The video card intelligently draws more or less power depending on how much you're asking it to do. On the desktop, you're asking it to do very little, so it draws less power (which in turn produces less heat.) When you're playing a game, the video card has to do much more work, and so in turn draws much more power, which produces more heat.

During games, it gets louder then quieter then louder because it needs to turn the fans on to remove the heat that is building up in the video card. The variance is caused by a combination of two things:

1) The video card is programmed to spin up the fans and keep on only when absolutely required. This means the video card can try to blast a ton of heat out very quickly, and when it senses that it's at a temperature that it "likes," it can bring the fans back down to a normal speed and get quiet again.

2) Games don't maintain a constant load on the card. If you're looking in a direction in a game with very few things in front of you, like a wall for example, the video card has to do less work than it would if you were looking at a vista with a ton of terrain and houses and grass.

I have 6+2 connector (only have 1) and 6 pin connector (only have 1) is that okay?

If I'm understanding correctly you have 1 - 6 pin and 1 - 6+2 connectors.  That would be fine, it's the same setup I have, you just separate extra 2 pins on the 6+2.

Question 3

I'm using a Shuttle barebone system; I'm certain it will fit, but are the power connectors located on the back or on the top? This will determine whether or not I need an extension for the cable. Also, the included PSU of this Shuttle was 500w, this card is recommended to have a 600w PSU. However, my CPU is an i7-3770k running at 75w. Because of the low power consumption of my CPU, is it a possibility that 500w would be sufficient?

The connectors are on the top about 3/4 of the way back just before the fan. As for the p/s issue- that will largely depend on how much voltage the p/s has going to the 12v connectors you use.

While the card has adapters for the older molex connectors, it's possible your power supply may not have enough wattage on one of the rails to keep it running- or it may have just enough and then cut out when you start an intense part of the game. (a rail is the way the power supply divides up its power- it may have two 12v rails at 20 amps, giving 240 watts apiece, or it could have a single 12v rail at 40 amps giving 480, or 3 12v rails at 10 doing 120 apiece, etc)

You can look on the side of the power supply and get an idea of how much wattage it can supply through the 12v connection- they usually have a diagram. If you don't have any other accessories it could be under the limit and work just fine. Otherwise, MOAR POWER!!

hi. i was wondering if this card can be used for streaming games such as the metal gear solid 5 games the witcher 3 and other new games such as these over twitch.

im very new to parts of a computer as im only a gamer not sure about specs just want to make sure i can stream games over twitch with this?

Is this product worth a upgrade from amd 6950 2gb? I want to play all of my games maxed out on 1080p for around 250 bucks and I saw this card. Never tried a zotac product so wondered what your guy's thoughts are?

This card won't permit you to play all of your games at max settings but you will be pretty close. As the card prices drop over time you could buy a second one of these and SLI the two.

Not good? Overheating issues with stock reference cooler found online.. :(

No Overheating for me. Fan is pretty quite and no noticable increase in noise on Ultra with Skyrim and Assassins Creed so far.  With dual monitors too, but I'm not sure that fact makes much difference since the 3D game only occupies one.

can this run with a stock 460w dell psu?

I would be very careful with that I would ask Dell for the voltage capabilities on each rail I know my son was able to use this on an EarthWatts 300 watt power supply but an earth watts  300 power supply doesn't fool around.

Question 9

Is this card compatible with a H-Joshua-h61-uatx motherboard, with an Intel core i3-2130 chip? I read this was a good mate with that chip on a forum and is just curious if it would be compatible.

From your specs you provided I think this card should work with your motherboard.  I have an Asus P45 motherboard with Intel Q9550 chip and I think it is compatible, even if I want to upgrade the motherboard and CPU.  I think this would be a good video card for your system, should still be able to work with the newest games, and looks to be a good value for the price.

Question 10

will this work on any board that is older gen intel with enough room in case for a PCI -16 slot?

As long as your board has the following, you should be fine (regardless of your intel processor):

an open PCI-e slot (dual slot card so make sure there is room in case)
enough room in your case (check dimensions in product description)
enough power from your power supply, and 2 6 pin PCI-e connectors

Generally speaking, I never buy below 650w power supplies, and in so doing, have never run into power issues with any GeForce or AMD card I've had in the past.
