I have the (Acer AG3-605-UR38 Desktop PC Intel Core i7 8GB DDR3 1TB HDD 16") found on this site. Im just wondering if the connectors will fit or not. I can't seem to find how many 6 pin ports it has?

This card requires two 6-pin power cables to run. Most PSUs at 500w or over should have that many.

How much power aka watts does the card require?

minimum power supply requirement is 500W. this takes into account other hardware you'll have running, cd drive, hard drive, etc and while under load. You'll also want to make sure your power supply has 2x 6-pin PCIe connectors to power the video card.

Zotac is fantastic I got 2 for sli and installed hooked the bridge and off I went, ran #DMARK firestorm with a 15,540, the cards are built with back plate and are long so you do need a full case. Fantastic cards temp 29 c under load 42c.

it has HDMI 2.0 but unsure of the HDCP version. none of the vga manufacturers list this. probably best to search on forums or ask nvidia directly.

Hey, Just wondering if I buy one of these for my computer will it work? 
My current specs
Mobo- Gigabyte Z87-HD3
processor- Intel Core i7-4770K
8gb ram 
1000w psu rosewell hive. 
currently I have a crappy gpu a geforce 640 
I am looking to step up my card so I can play new games at 1080p
with goot fps.

spec wise your system will work with the zotac gtx 980 amp. but the one thing you didn't mention is your case. the zotac gtx 980 amp is 10.94" long. so just make sure your case can accomodate it and you'll be good.

It has been overclocked slightly, but you can downclock it to match a reference card (or, alternatively, overclock your reference card).

Hi,

Go to Zotac's website and lookup the system requirements of the card. I did a quick search on the specs of your computer, if your are running it stock with no upgrades then your power supply and CPU would seem to be under powered to get the most out of this card.

My rig has an Intel quad core CPU over clocked to 4.8 ghz, 16 gb ram and 1200 watt power supply. It's a fairly high end system, thats why a bought two cards to run in sli. The performance is great.

As for you, you want to spend the money on upgrading your rig before buying a high end video card.
