I haven't even taken mine out of the box yet, so I wouldn't know. But the card stats should be under the physical reporting on the website and that should be sufficient for you to check the measurement against your case space.

They recommend a 500W power supply. If you're not overclocking or using other extremely high draw components then any decent PS should do fine. I'm using a standard Dell 460W PS and not having any problems but it's generally best to meet the minimum recommended specs if you can.

I would say yes. You need an 8 pin power connection. Be sure you have this available. The card comes with an adapter cable that utilizes two Molex to 8 pin, if you have two spare Molex connectors. If your video card power connector is 6 pin as mine is you can order from NEWEGG, the 9SIAGHB7U47717CY PW-185 PCI Express 6 pin to dual 8 pin power adapter cable. This worked for me. The card works great on my system.

Not by default, in my experience. With the Firestorm control panel you can create custom fan curves that would allow for 0% fan at idle.

I don't know anything about HP Pavilion desktop computers, but any system with a PCIe x 16 slot in it should accept the video card as long as the physical space requirements are met, and you have a proper power supply to support the power requirements of the card.
