It is just a modem. You'll need an additional router.

Does the wifi works properly?

No. It does not include WiFi. This product is a DOCSIS 3.0 Modem. That means it connects to internet provided over the same cable that you can get TV from. So if you subscribe to cable internet, either by itself or as part of a package with cable TV then this can provide internet connectivity to your network.

To get WiFi you will also need a wireless router. The router would connect to the modem with an Ethernet cable. From the modems Ethernet port to the routers WAN port.
