Ok i Have a Internet Radio station and i use Sams Broadcaster to stream witch requires windows os and I was wandering if this would be suitable for that purpose as i see it can do my sql and i would believe ftp also if i am wrong please correct me on it and can anyone give me a idea how big the storage is on this machine please? thanks

Brian, When you purchase this enclosure you will still have to buy a Sata drive, I have 2 of these units. The best drive to purchase with this unit is a drive designed for NAS systems such as this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=red+drive&N=-1&isNodeId=1 I have purchased red drives, you can do a search on Newegg for red drive and they have a good list of them. I am not sure if they have updated the firmware to handle more then 3 TB. I know the ones I have can handle 3 TB. You can also add another USB drive to the back of the unit and double that space to 6 TB and add a Sata external drive and that would bring you up to 9 TB. I have been very happy with these NAS units. It has a nice interface that you can setup your drives with thru a web browser easy to do. There is also software so that you can setup your own personal cloud, Polkast, it works well with smart phones and tablets.
