Overall Review: Works very well for my purposes, running it on XP, Win 7 starter, and Win 7 Pro. Per WR Customer Support: "Disregard the version year, you always have the latest product because we update daily". Also, "You can take advantage of a good price and add the key to your existing subscription (be aware of your version e.g. Complete vs. Plus, etc. and also the number of devices ) and it will 'stack' (add on) to your existing subscription, or, you can save it indefinitely- your subscription date starts when you add the key to the first device".

Pros: - Extremely lightweight in terms of system resources used; the performance impact on even lower end systems is negligible. The entire installation totals less than 30MB.
- For 30MB, this product provides protection that easily stands toe to toe with the better known AV's such as BitDefender, Kaspersky. In fact, reviews of this and and other Webroot products consistently corroborate this product outclasses almost every AV in terms of threat detection.
- The user interface is very, very beginner friendly. Working in the IT field, the UI truly is a sight for sore eyes.
- The scans are FAST, real fast - to the point where I doubt whether or not they actually work. They work =)
- When I purchased this product, it was one sale at $10 for a total of 5 one-year licenses. When Webroot rolls out promotions like those, they really can't be beat.

Cons: In my opinion, none.

Overall Review: - If you are not a super-heavyweight class user, then this product will suffice for almost anything you'll be doing.
- The additional features may be a little lightweight, but they get the job done just fine. The mobile device protection is also very nifty; the installation may take just a tad more work, but the protection that it offers your smartphone is definitely akin to the PC version - UI friendly, lightweight, and robust.
- I got lucky and got this for $10, but if you want a penny sized powerhouse that can and will do what something like the BitDefender giant will, then don't hesitate!

Overall Review: As an IT tech, I love Webroot SAC! For the everyday user, it is powerful, user-friendly, fast, and extremely light on system resources. I suggest that power users or people with riskier browsing behaviors incorporate WSAC alongside at least one other antimalware product. I use WSAC for its superior web threat protection and power to remove tough malware infections, alongside AVG Free for its excellent file system heuristics and e-mail scanner, and Malwarebytes Pro for its excellent port protection and ability to catch malware other programs often miss. It takes a powerful computer to run all 3 without a slowdown, but the protection is superb.

Pros: I have used this version for only about a couple of weeks now. But I have had the Webroot Internet Security Complete once before. This is one of the best Security programs that you can get that has the best protection with so many extra tools that you will not believe of what you are getting. Not only does this provide the best antivirus, anti-spyware, anti malware protection that you can get. You never have to update it, because it is always automatically updated through the cloud database. If you sometime stumble across a site that you wish you had not went to. Hey this will tell you and block it if you are worried about Rouge sites. What about downloading, installing bad software that you found as a free, trial, or a giveaway. This will block or tell you if it is a good software or not and has the signatures of a legit software. Keeps your identity safe and lets you store your logins and passwords so that all you have to do is login in once connected to the net. Then just go to those sites and enter the info to login in once, then let Webroot remember it and the next time you go there it will log you in. Use the system optimizer to keep your computer working at top conditions, and has a system analyzer and control to stop and fix those that need to be stopped or tuned since you may have changed a software or had an update. Need to backup some photo,s documents, then use the backup program in this software and do not loose those important things.

Cons: Just be sure that no one else is able to know your login in for Webroot or has a separate and limited login or only let people you trust on your computer which is a given anyways.

Overall Review: If you like a great software that protects you in all the ways possible on the net that will not drag your system to a drag, or has bloatware with Shredders and other tools that really do not help or do anything. Then this is the software for you.

Pros: Honestly the best AV i have used. It quick and super light-weight. Great detection rates.

Pros: This product does the intended job. It also takes up very little computer resources. The product consistently gets good to outstanding reviews by industry publications. You are also able to control your devices from a control panel online and can download a product for your smartphone at no additional cost, which can also be controlled from the same online panel.

Cons: Not the most well known brand, so I was originally a little hesitant to purchase. After reading a few industry reviews, I made the purchase and it was the right decision.

Overall Review: I ended up purchasing the product on sale and downloadable. I purchased (2) 3-seat licenses and a 5-seat license for a total of 11 seats which I was able to load onto all 10 of my Windows computers. and also onto all of my smartphones (free). Great deal and equally as good product.

Overall Review: Quite frankly there are allot of AV choices out there and I've tried most of them over the years. I have this coupled with Malwarebytes Pro, add in some good old fashion common sense and you cannot beat that combination without going all out fanatical.

Cons: - Cisco VPN Client behaves really quirky (unusable) when Webroot is enabled . Only way to operate Cisco VPN Client is to disable Webroot

- Unexpected 50% CPU spikes of Webroot, especially disruptive while doing video web conferences or using VOIP calls and a USB headset

- There is no configuration option to limit the CPU usage (such as provided in Microsoft Security Essentials/Defender)

- As this product requires a constant connection to the Internet, I have concerns how this product will work when I am traveling or disconnected from the Internet , for a few days, but have to open files on my computer from other networks or USB media that may have not been scanned. If product cannot connect to the Internet than I have an exposure ?

Overall Review: Webroot seems to alert me that a number of the newegg.com website or affiliated links are malicious , during the checkout process ?

Not sure how to rate this product as it appears it is not a good fit for my needs. I am probably better off with a traditional anti virus product that works well with CISCO VPN Client and can operate somewhat safely in offline mode (does not require constant internet connection).

Have requested assistance from Webroot on the CISCO VPN client issue and their response was to reinstall Webroot, which I have done but to no avail. Their support responses are prompt.

Pros: Installs in 1 minute - my last 8 scans averaged less than 2 minutes. Installed on 5 computers - can manage all of them through single console. Had Avast before this, installed this and found 2 REAL PUPs that were in my IE temp folder. Lightweight, and leverages big networks. The firewall (which I usually turn off) only blocks connections OUT, not in. Prevents you looking the fool and spreading a virus.
The bonus tools include a sandbox app launcher, password manager (i didn't use this), and a slew of little reset tools like fix screensaver, background, wallpaper, system analyzer that tells you about updates you didn't install, and a one button reboot into safe mode for Windows 8.

Cons: System Optimizer should be called "Remove temp files", IMO. :)

Overall Review: I've been a PC tech for over 20 years, and can say this company is making the right decisions on what security software should be. I recommend software that keeps ME out of trouble and this is it.

Pros: should have been super easy. send me link to download, but no, Newegg has to overly complicate things. link to download software is garbage. Only actual links that work are the ones that force you to download the Newegg Download manager (surprise surprise) the other link to ONLY download the program, ofcourse doesnt work. Once you download the NE DL manager, and its installed on my MAC, that wont even download the software, so now i got bloadware installed, and it doesnt even work.

STAY AWAY and buy from someone like (the online store that has same name as a river, newegg would not let me use their name) that doesnt pay stupid games with its customers. Shame on you Newegg for this and for blocking the use of your competition.

Cons: EVERYTHING about this expirience. This is my second purchase in a row that is bad. With so many etailers, im starting to think it best to take my business somewhere else.

Overall Review: I've been using this software on my laptop for almost a year now and it has been so amazing I decided to put it in my desktop and mom's computer.

It's especially great for non tech savy users since you can just install it and forget about it. There's no need for regular updates since it's always hooked up to the cloud and is always updated

Pros: Downloaded onto my desktops and laptops in about 4 min each. Setup was automatic. It runs in the background and uses minimal cpu time. It actually let all of my machine run faster the the last security program that I was using. It even found three malware programs my last program missed.

Pros: I have used Webroot AV in the past and found their product very good.

Cons: I won't use Cloud AV's at all. My privacy is at risk with Cloud computing. I want my stuff on my computer where I can disconnect from the Net by pushing a button when I want.

Kaspersky is just as bad. I have 3 AV disks that came with laptops that I bought and won't use.

Pros: The "download" has repeatedly led me to a Webroots renewal window that wants $49 for a 3 version download or $79 for the 5 user that I thought I bought here! Removed my previous Webroots '13 install (My first off-disc WR installation), tried a fresh download and then realized that I'd never gotten a full Product key anyway when I looked back in my email. NOW I know why you should always (ALWAYS) get the da#n disc version. I may just go back to Norton - that I'll buy locally right down the street!! (That's my one pro folks!)

Pros: A really annoying problem that I keep having & have been experiencing with Webroot for a very long time now is that when I run advanced registry cleaning programs on my computer to help keep it clean, healthy & speedy such as: (Winsao Registry Optimizer), (Free Windows Registry Repair) or (Glary Utilities), I then experience safety problems that suddenly go wrong with Webroot's 2-Way Firewall after using those registry cleaning programs. When I run any of those 3 programs to fix registry errors or problems on my computer, they cause a security vulnerability problem to occur with the Firewall in Webroot. Sadly, Webroot is weak to this & allows them to modify & make the unsafe changes to their firewall's safety & security in their product without blocking or warning me in real time when the the registry cleaning programs are making the unsafe & unnecessary changes to Webroot's Firewall. An Explanation of the problem is as follows: All of the Webroot monitored active connections in the second column of Webroot's2-Way Firewall are totally blank and not functioning like before to monitor & protect me from incoming Internet intruders & attacks after one of those 3 registry programs is used & run on my computer. This happens every time to Webroot's 2-Way Firewall when I decide that it's time to run one of those 3 registry programs to fix registry errors & problems on my computer. I've also experienced this same exact problem with Webroot's 2-Way Firewall when I defragment my computers registry using (Winaso Registry Defrag), (Auslogics Registry Defrag) or (Glary Utilities Registry Defrag). Currently until Webroot looks into this & decides to make a fix to the security problem with their 2-way firewall, the only fix to this Webroot Firewall security vulnerability issue when it occurs is to; uninstall & re-install Webroot Secure Anywhere each & every time that I run & use one of those 3 registry cleaning programs on my computer which is about once a month in order to try in keep my computer clean & speedy like a new computer instead of rundown & slow. After I uninstall & re-install Webroot on my computer, the Webroot Firewall problem is fixed but is only temporary until the next time that I use one of those 3 programs again to fix registry errors & problems on my computer or decide to defragment my computers registry which is not too often because it requires a Windows System Restart & does not need to be run very often.

Cons: My last big problem that I just recently discovered with Webroot Secure Anywhere is that when I installed (Winaso Registry Optimizer) on my computer again & only just for temporary use, I used one of the features in (Winaso Registry Optimizer) called (Security Update). I use that one specific feature in (Winaso Registry Optimizer) about twice a year to install & fix Windows security vulnerabilities that Microsoft has missed or failed to provide through Microsoft Windows Update. I scanned & used that specific feature & it found 65 missed security vulnerability update patches that Microsoft Update failed to provide for my Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit Operating System. I proceeded & let Winaso Registry Optimizer download & install them for me to make my computer safer & more stable as for that is the exact point of this free feature in (Winaso Registry Optimizer). Once I downloaded & installed those 65 missed Windows Updates using (Winaso Registry Optimizer), I then decided that is was time to run a Webroot Full Scan of my computer. I did in fact run a Webroot Full Scan on my computer after that & became really impatient & suspicious with the Webroot Full Scan because it was taking a ridiculous 40 to 60 minutes to even begin to complete instead of 15 to 18 minutes like it used to on my computer & was scanning 4 times as many files as before on my computer. On my own, I then discovered that this specific scanning problem with Webroot was caused because of the (Winaso Registry Optimizer Security Updates) that I had just installed on my computer. They were having a really strange & negative effect on Webroot's Full Scan for some reason. I could easily see & was noticing this upside down effect going inside of Webroot's Full Scan. That's because during the Webroot Full Scan of my computer, when the scan got to 17 & 18 percent of completion, it was looking very stuck & frozen on just scanning Winaso's Security Updates files over & over again & nothing else for a very long period of time. I finally made the decision to cancel the Webroot Full Scan on my computer because it was not getting anywhere & was pretty much stuck on scanning only (Winaso Registry Optimizer's Security Updates). I uninstalled (Winaso Registry Optimizer) right away after I had freely used all of their program features to help out with my computer's health & performance. Once I fully uninstalled (Winaso Registry Optimizer) from my computer, I tried running another Webroot Full Scan on my computer. It then performed & completed in the time that it used to which was around 15 to 20 minutes & did not freeze up & get stuck on scanning only (Winaso Registry Optimizer's Security Updates) like it did before. Therefore, I think that Webroot also needs to really look into this issue too as well, see the problem for themselves & figure out how to not let this happen in the future between their Webroot Security Products Full Scans & (Winaso Registry Optimizer's Security Updates)...

Overall Review: Therefore, because of all of this not so goodness from start to finish with Webroot is thus why I am giving Webroot Secure Anywhere Internet Security Complete only 2 stars out of 5.

Cons: A relative of mine was told to buy this by a sales rep at a certain large electronics and computer retailer last year.

Over the weekend I visited their computer, and found this supposed antivirus software running and updated on their system, and yet 3 spyware programs I ran found and removed over 12 viruses, trojans and malware apps. It's like Webroot wasn't doing anything other than slowing down their machine and wasting their money.

I will never recommend this virus protection company to any of my clients.
